I am
Perspiring darkness
My night face glistens
With the sweat of vengeance

I bleed
Gall
I exhale
Death

I may appear to you
Mere skin and bones
But I warn you
I am infinitely more

I am
The angel that fell from heaven
Like icy lightning falls from the sky
The one they call
The Morning Star

Nay.

I am
The mother
Who gave him life
The father
Who taught him
Evil
When he was still
Pink with youth
And I grinned in delight
As he learned my black ways

You would be wise
To tread lightly
To tread with reverence
To tread with
Dread.
